Luca nichetto: Hook Box

For some reason I have this mild obsession with clothing hooks. I just find them really useful, especially because I always have some much stuff to put into my pockets before I leave. When i saw these ridiculously awesome hooks with a compartment above I went nuts. They were made for Bosa Ceramiche by Luca Nichetto a designer based in Italy. So unfortunately, I don’t think we can really get our hands on these, but if anyone finds something like this tell me, I will buy 100.

Everyone loves Chinese Rice-paper walls, but sometimes you just need something a bit nicer and sturdier. dVider offers wall dividers in all sizes to fit any home or office space. What I liked most about dVider was the available wall stickers that allow you to custom design your walls and dVider sails. If you’re not a fan of their stickers, you can always send artwork or photos to create your own custom dVider sails. We might have to get some of these at our office spot. static project static project

Static! is a collaborative project out of Sweden’s Interactive Institute that promotes energy awareness through technology and design. Through prototypes, concept designs, and use scenarios, they create real-time visualizations of energy use to encourage recognition of behavior and offer opportunities for change. Some projects include the Appearing Pattern Wallpaper, which slowly changes the walls from a solid color to a pattern through a UV-sensitive ink in order to show the effect of energy over time, and the Power Aware Cord, which has glowing wires that intensify as increased amounts of energy pass through them.
