Truffle ShuffleSince I was about 11/12 years old I’ve been into T-shirts. I don’t just mean any old t-shirts, but ones with some style, some originality, somethingotherthan the Polo, GAP normality that I encountered when shopping with my mother in my earlier years. I have collected shirts ranging from screen prints courtesy of my artistic friends, old electrician shirts (the ones with name tags on them), to the more recent styles of places like Threadless and my newest discovery….Cotton Factory.com. This is not your run of the mill site that offers designs that looked like they were thrown together in about 5 minutes. These are some very well thought-out ideas (ok some may have only taken 5 minutes, but they’re clever to say the least), shirts saying “My other car is a Transformer”, to the simple Atari (game console) symbol. So if you dig t-shirts or need to fill some closet space, check out Cotton Factory.

I’m not too sure if I like the idea or if I find it slightly disgusting that i can slip a drink in my sandal, I’m leaning towards disgusting. But here it is, Reef has just come out with the Dram sandal for those individuals who don’t know what pockets and a flask are. The sandal holds up to 3 ounces of liquid and comes with a handy window at the bottom of your dirty sandal to see how your drink is doing.

Everyone loves t-shirts, here’s a way to have some nice threads and do something for others. Rosa Loves is a group that creates t-shirts and donates a percentage of their earnings to good causes. Started by Mike Fretto and Chris Lewis last summer, they donate to specific individuals in need rather than large charity organizations. There are tons of great organizations out there but Rosa Loves wants to shed light on the stories around us. Every t-shirt is for a specific cause and can be read about on their website. So go do some good, buy a shirt.
